There is no reason for your baby to cause you any problems when travelling, there are many prams and pushchairs which can are very suitable for travel.

 

In order to decide which type of pram or pushchair will best suit your needs, start by considering what type of travelling you will do, do you go camping and stay overnight or do you just hop on and off busses or trains to go about your daily life? Alternatively you may find that you regularly use aeroplanes to travel around.

 

If you go camping or do a significant amount of off road walking then you may want to consider an all terrain pushchair, these have three wheels and are easier to steer on rough roads, these may be an ideal choice for camping related travelling. If your baby is very small you could also consider using a baby carrier which straps the baby to your back or front so there is nothing to push.

 

If you’re going to be travelling by car a lot then it could pay to get a pram or pushchair with a detachable car seat so that you can move baby from pram to car without disturbing them if they are sleeping.

 

If your regularly getting on and off busses or trains then an important factor would be the weight of the pram, you would want something quite light if your going to be carrying it up steps some of the time, also you should look for one which can be closed with one hand because you will be holding baby and lots of other stuff with the other hand if your alone.

 

Something which is small when folded up will make storing the pram easier when you are using transport to get around and consider the size of your car boot when selecting which one you are going to buy.

 

Travel system prams and pushchairs usually have a detachable car seat and some can be used for babies up to 9 – 12 months old, they are lightweight and have several positions which you can incline baby for total comfort. There is usually a shopping tray to store goods as you shop and a bumper bar for older children to hold them in safely, these prams and pushchairs can be an excellent choice and there is a wide range of models to choose from which can suit all tastes and budgets.
